Dolphin Watch, snorkelling and picnic on Benitier Island

Dolphins are one of the most fantastic creatures that live in the ocean.Dolphins lived in pods of around 20 individuals or more and can be observed swimming casually from Tamarin (on the west coast of Mauritius) on their way to the deep sea off the coast of le Morne peninsula, early in the morning.

Customers will be embarked on the speed boat. The skipper will locate the dolphins and once he find the dolphins he will approach slowly so that visitors may take pictures. Those who wish to snorkel along or swim with the dolphins are most welcomed. It takes about two hours just to see the dolphins in the bay including snorkelling near the coral reef, which ends at around 10:00.a.m.

After the 1 hour outing with the dolphins and 1 hour snorkelling at the Aquarium coral reef you will be going to L’Ile aux Benitiers for lunch and relax.

You will swim across the Crystal Rock and enjoy the magnificent view on le Morne Mountain.

Lunch will be served on the Benitier Island around noon. • After lunch you will have the leisure to tan on the beach or else walk around the endless beach of the island.

Menu on Ile aux Bénitiers: Grill Fish, Chicken, Sausages, Garlic Bread, Salads, Grilled banana, Soft drinks Coke / Sprite, Water, Juice, Punch, Wine, Beer.

We will leave Benitier Island at 13:30 and back to Tamarin bay around 15:00
