First, there is a master bedroom with four-poster bed – with mosquito net, a spacious en-suite bathroom with open roof shower cubicle, double washbasin, toilet, air-conditioning, and ceiling fan. The authorities of the Villas Salines have installed a digital safe too, in the master bedroom, where guests can secure their precious belongings. The master bedroom also leads out to sea-facing verandah, where one can relish a hot cup of coffee with his lover, while enjoying the sea winds.
The second and the third bedrooms are also quite roomy; they also have all the amenities like the master bedroom – except the digital safe. However, the second is a tad different; it has twin beds instead of king/queen size beds. Though, you can push them together to make a double bed. And, unlike the third bedroom, the second bedroom also opens to a sea view. Apart from these three bedrooms, there is a study room too; it has a single bed, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. One can study, or spend time there in silence for reading.
Bedrooms aren’t the only thing that branch out the indoor pleasure; there is a living room too that presents the actual fun. It has a comfy plush sofa set, dining table with chairs (accommodate 6-8 persons), 40” LCD TV with satellite channels, telephone line for local calls, and free internet connection. Besides, there is a DVD player too. Want to see some romantic movie with your lover? Just a DVD from the DVD library; it has a huge collection.

The Salines Villas enjoy an ideal location in Tamarin. Esplanade offers a real oasis of serenity and comfort. They are embedded in a preserved and secure environment. Tamarin is the main holiday village on the west coast and hosts numerous restaurants, a small number of bars and many boutiques for those that enjoy shopping.
The weather is warmer and more humid on the west coast, it is also relatively wind free, except during winter or cyclonic conditions. Even then, the winds are not strong, unlike the east coast. Sea temperatures are also a degree or two higher than the east coast. The lagoons are also generally calmer and currents less strong. And there is also better snorkelling on the west coast - with the primary east coast exception being Blue Bay.
The west coast is, in general, more (and increasingly) developed, with good and easy road access to other parts of the island. The east coast, on the other hand, is more remote and generally "quieter". From the west coast it is easy to get to towns like Port Louis, Curepipe, Vacoas, and attractions like the Black River Gorge, Chamarel and Grand Bassin.
